Lifting appliances and lifting equipment Kolos is a certified company (S1, independence type C) for a wide range of equipment that requires certification and periodic inspection. We are approved and carry out periodic checks on a large number of different types of lifting equipment.The company is one of a small number of companies that hold approval for all types of land-based lifting equipment. This means that we are approved to develop instructions for, and perform periodic checks on, a variety of lifting equipment. The scope of control is mainly based on user and maintenance documentation from the manufacturer, national and international regulations as well as standards for relevant work equipment. Kolos offers 3rd part inspection and certification in the following areas: All types of cranes, including offshore cranes and other lifting devices used for lifting loads All types of containers, skids, beams, lifting ears and other lifting equipment All types of scaffolding and personal lifts All types of excavators, wheel loaders etc. Kolos has personnel types A1 and B1 (shipping) for control / certification of lifting devices
