We design, build, and deliver AHC systems for winches and cranes – tailored to your operation, your vessel, and your schedule. Whether you need capacity now or are planning a future project, we have a model that fits.

Some clients plan ahead and invest with a long-term horizon. Others need a solution on short notice. We support both paths.
Immediate need
If you have an upcoming project and need AHC capacity without the long lead times, renting is the smart choice. We provide complete systems including sensors, control units, and full technical support throughout the rental period.
Longer planning horizon
If your project is further down the line, or you need permanent AHC capacity, we build a system tailored specifically for you — matched to your crane or winch, your vessel, and your operational profile.

Lifting heavy subsea equipment demands precision. AHC eliminates dynamic shock loads and ensures controlled, stable deployment.
AHC reduces the risk of damage to both the ROV and the LARS system during launch and retrieval in wave conditions.
Stable lifting is critical for wireline and coiled‑tubing operations, where the toolstring cannot tolerate dynamic loading.
Component replacement and inspection on both floating and fixed turbine installations require reliable lifting performance in all sea states.
AHC maintains consistent wire tension and prevents sudden load variations that could damage cables or pipes.
Where personnel safety depends directly on stable loads, AHC becomes a safety‑critical system.

We take the time to understand your operation — area of operation, Hs requirements, existing crane or winch capacity, and project timeline. You don’t need to have all the answers up front.
Kolos prepares a system specification based on your requirements, including an assessment of the crane’s dynamic load capacity — ensuring the crane defines the operational limits, not the AHC system in isolation.
We build the system, carry out Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and support installation and commissioning onboard.
Your operators receive training, and Kolos remains available for technical support throughout the system’s lifetime.
